New Roles, Same Spirit
A lot has happened at Mindhive this year and during the spring, but one thing remains certain: our everyday operations continue smoothly – now with even greater clarity. In February, Suvi officially took on the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO), and in May, our team grew stronger with the addition of Pekka Manninen as our new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).While the titles are new, the way we work hasn’t changed – rather, it has sharpened.
What’s Changing – and What Isn’t
Mindhive is growing and evolving, and with that comes an increasing workload. Our entrepreneur and CEO Ville Venäläinen wants to focus more on product development and consultancy so that we can offer our clients even better solutions. With the new roles, this is now possible.
Suvi has been part of Mindhive’s day-to-day operations since 2022, so stepping into the COO role was more a formalisation than a change of direction. Going forward, she will be especially responsible for keeping things running smoothly: administrative and HR matters now go through her – and marketing, too. Suvi remains a point of contact for anything related to sales and customer relationships as well.
“Mindhive continues to focus on productising AI services and delivering demanding consultancy projects. Suvi’s appointment brings clarity to our daily work by enabling a more effective division of responsibilities – which has already shown in more efficient operations. I can now better focus on product development, consulting, and ensuring we push our services forward. Suvi has gradually taken on more responsibility and grown into this key role, so the decision was easy,” Ville explains.
“This role feels like a natural next step – I’ve been involved in many aspects of our operations, and now I can concentrate more fully on making sure things run smoothly day to day. I truly appreciate this opportunity and look forward to everything we’ll accomplish together,” Suvi summarises.
A Commercial Boost
Pekka joined in May, bringing with him a wealth of commercial expertise and strategic insight. He is especially responsible for the sales of our MAINIO AI assistant and for developing Mindhive’s overall sales approach. Throughout his career, Pekka has helped Finnish and international clients harness ICT from the early PC and workgroup software era to today’s cloud-based solutions. He has worked as a consultant, salesperson, sales leader, head of service development, and in executive business leadership roles.
